Don't Miss Out on EITC

Since 1975, the Earned Income Tax Credit has been offering tax relief to low and moderate income individuals and families. In recent years, CT filers claiming EITC have received an average credit of over $1,800 on their federal taxes. Once again, United Way of Connecticut is working to inform and educate families about their eligibility for EITC and other federal tax credits. To learn more or for a referral to a free tax preparation site, dial 2-1-1 or visit www.211ct.org/taxes.
