New Mortgage Assistance Available

The $25 billion landmark settlement announced last week with the nation's five largest mortgage servicers over the "robo-signing" scandal includes nearly $190 million for Connecticut. Homeowners with mortgages serviced by Bank of America, Citibank, JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo and Ally Bank (formerly GMAC) may now be eligible for modifications to their mortgages and other benefits. The Connecticut Attorney General's office is assisting those residents to understand their eligibility under this settlement. For more information dial 2-1-1 or click here.
